THIRKAN '24: GROUP DANCE RULEBOOK

Event Overview:

Experience the electrifying energy of dance at Thirkan '24, where college teams from across India battle it out to claim the crown. As one of the flagship events of Xpressions, XIMB, Thirkan is your platform to showcase dazzling choreography, jaw-dropping moves, and your team's unbeatable coordination. Get ready to set the stage on fire in this epic group dance competition!

General Instructions:

• This is a one-round event 

• The groups will compete offline, directly after registration.

• The final round would be offline.

• All the tracks must be provided in a pen drive before the event.

• Inflammable objects, water, and heavy objects are NOT allowed on stage.

• Obscenity of any kind would lead to disqualification from the event.

• The judge’s decision would be final and binding.

 Important Dates: 

• Last date for Registration: 15th January 2025

• Event date: 19th January 2025

  
  

Rules for Participation

• Team Size: Minimum 5, Maximum 20.

• Performance Duration: 4 - 8 Minutes

• Cross-college teams are not allowed.

• Professional dance groups are NOT allowed

• All team members must belong to the same college.

• Follow the deadlines and time limits given strictly.

• All the registered teams will compete in the finals which are to be held at Xpressions.

• There is no restriction on the dance form chosen for either round.

Judging Criteria:

• Choreography

• Creativity/ wow moments

• Overall Presentation

• Costumes/ props

• Expressions

• Coordination
