Get ready for a spectacular celebration of talent, art, and culture! This year’s Xpressions brings a dazzling fusion of imagination and emotion, with unforgettable performances, vibrant vibes, and endless surprises.

Event Format:

• The event format consists of a live on-stage performance with a 4-minute allotment for each finalist. 

• Time limit penalties: Negative points will be applied up to the 4-minute mark; exceeding this will result in disqualification.

Judging Criteria:

Humor and Comedy Content: 

• Continued creativity, originality, and effectiveness of comedic material. 

• Consistency in delivering humorous content. 

Adherence to Time Limit: 

• Compliance with the 4-minute time restriction. 

• Skillful time management for optimal comedic impact. 

Stage Presence: 

• Confidence, charisma, and connection with the live audience. 

• Effective use of the stage and physical presence. 

Interaction with Audience: 

• Engagement with the audience.

• Ability to adapt to the energy of the audience. 

Delivery and Timing: 

• Skill in delivering punchlines with appropriate timing. 

• Smooth and effective transitions between jokes. 

Penalties: 

• Deduction of points for exceeding the time limit.

Rules 

• Only individual participation is allowed. 

• There is no age restriction on participants. 

• Both English and Hindi languages are acceptable. 

• Content must not contain any obscenities. Any topics that can hurt the sentiment of any religion, communities or group are not permitted. 

• The performance duration for all participants is 4 minutes. Going over will result in negative marks, and participants will be disqualified if they exceed 5 minutes. 

• Participants need to avail the xpressions pass that will be sent through mail at a nominal charge after registeration to be eligible

• All participants must maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor towards other participating comedians. 

• A sound system will be provided for the event. 

• Use of any prerecorded material is not permitted 

• Use of external devices for sound effects/background music is not permitted 

• All participants must be present at least 45 minutes prior to their performance time. 

• If participants are not present and ready to set up for their performance 15 minutes before going on stage, their participation will be disqualified. 

• Participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct throughout the event, promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere. 

• Technical support will be available to assist participants with any sound system or equipment-related issues. 

• The event may be recorded and/or broadcasted, and participants consent to their performances being used for promotional purposes.
