"Pitch It Abroad 2025" (PIA’25) invites students to develop innovative strategies and pitch for a tech-enabled initiative for India with global impact. PIA’25 is centred on the theme "Bazaar 2.0: Reviving Indian Commerce with Global Reach - Empowering Artisans, SMEs, and Rural Entrepreneurs Using E-Commerce and AI". This theme underscores the transformative potential of technology, specifically e-commerce and AI, in revitalizing India's traditional commerce ecosystem while empowering grassroots stakeholders such as artisans, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and rural entrepreneurs. It aligns with the vision of integrating India's rich cultural heritage and traditional industries into the modern global economy.

Key Aspects of the Challenge:

• Reviving Indian Commerce: Harnessing technology to modernize traditional Indian businesses and crafts for sustainable growth.

• Empowering Grassroots Stakeholders: Boosting artisans, SMEs, and rural entrepreneurs with market access and scalability tools.

• E-Commerce Role: Enabling direct consumer connections, efficient logistics, and digital marketplaces for Indian products.

• AI Integration: Using AI for personalization, supply chain efficiency, market insights, and skill development.

• Global Reach: Positioning “Made in India” goods in global markets through strategic digital platforms and collaborations.

 Rules & Guidelines: 

• A team must consist of 1-2 members.

• Cross-year teams are allowed. 

• A student cannot be a part of more than one team.

• All the deadlines need to be adhered to. 

• Failure to meet deadlines like submissions and/or missing out on any of the phases will lead to disqualification from the event, whichever the panel sees fit. 

• All the event times are according to Indian Standard Time. 

• One Team can present only one idea. Any more than that will lead to disqualification. 

• The emphasis for the evaluation of the solutions presented will be on the uniqueness of the idea, rationale, or data supporting the idea.

• All decisions in the matter of eligibility will be with IRC, XIMB & Unstop
