Carnival De Vogue

Carnival De Vogue is one of the flagship events of Xpressions, XIMB. A thematic fashion event wherein the ramp becomes the arena to express the imagination, wild spirit, and free will of the participants by means of their chic and unique fashion sense whilst stimulating the spectators to ponder about various deep societal intricacies presented as the theme.

Round 1: XIMB Ground

• Teams have to perform (ramp walk) on the theme provided by the organizers on a well-versed choreography accompanied by a pre-recorded track within the given time limit.

• Theme (open to Interpretation): Choose any one of the following:

  • Eras of Fashion

  • Met Gala, but corporate

• Time Limit: 15 minutes (including set up and clearance time)

Round 2: Finals Individual Awards (XIMB Ground)

• The top 3 teams from round 2 would nominate 1 male and 1 female model each to walk for Best Male Model and Best Female Model Award.

• Title: "Techno Funk Fusion: Where Style Meets Beats"

• Get ready for a cutting-edge collision of style and sound in our upcoming extravaganza, "Techno Funk Fusion." This theme seamlessly blends the sleek aesthetics of technology with the bold vibes of funk, promising a visually striking and sonically captivating runway experience.

• Time Limit: 4 minutes (including set up and clearance time).
