About the event

Carnival De Vogue is an electrifying celebration of artistic expression, transforming the traditional runway into a dynamic canvas where fashion becomes a powerful medium of storytelling. This flagship event of Xpressions, XIMB, challenges participants to transcend conventional boundaries, using their slick choices as a provocative language that sparks dialogue, and challenges perceptions, showing that fashion can be a language of connection and understanding.

General Instructions:

  • Team Size: 21 (including participants and assistance)

  • The event will be conducted on campus

  • Obscenity of any kind would lead to disqualification from the event.

  • Decisions of the judges will be final and binding

Structure:

Round venue: XIMB Ground

Teams have to perform (ramp walk) on the theme provided by the organizers on a well-versed choreography accompanied by a pre-recorded track within the given time limit.

Theme (open to Interpretation): Choose any one of the following:

  • Ethereal Elements

  • Mythical Glamour

Time Limit: 15 minutes (including set up and clearance time)

In this electrifying round, performers will transform the runway into a profound psychological canvas, exploring the complex landscape of human emotions, inner struggles, and hidden dimensions of the mind. Each performance becomes a raw, visual poetry that unveils the intricate dance between our visible exterior and the rich, often unexplored territories of our inner world.
