About the event
The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar's X-Ops, Operations Committee, hosts the national-level case study competition Aarohan as part of Xpressions, the festival's yearly main event and the largest management-related cultural event in Eastern India.
Teams will receive real-world case studies from the sector. Teams must work on the case, and the deliverables must produce business solutions to help and contribute to the real-world issue that various sectors have created.
Round 1: Quiz Round
Teams must participate in the quiz round, which will be taken up by the Team Leader respectively.
The Quiz will consist of 20 questions(+1, -0.25) to be submitted within a stipulated time of 20 minutes
The primary ground on which the quiz would be taken is around Operations Management, be it Logistics, Distribution, or Supply Chain.
Round 2 : Case Submission
Qualified teams from round 1 will have to analyze and provide solutions for a given case study.
The submissions must be of 4-5 slides (excluding the introduction and thank you pages), precise, and able to transmit the solicited idea.
Round 3: Virtual Presentation
The top 8 teams from round 2 will have the chance to present their solutions to the jury virtually.
The presentation should be organized according to its allotted time, which is 10 minutes, followed by Q&A of 5 mins.
General Directives:
The activity will take place Online.
Atmost two people should make up the squad.
The participants need to be from the same college.
Teams from different years may compete.
One Contribution is permitted only.
In the event of a dispute, The judgment from X-Ops shall be stated final.
Any deviation from the information mentioned above will solicit for disqualification of the respective teams.
Significant Dates
Registration Deadline is 8th January 2024, 10:00 PM IST
The Quiz window is 8:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST on 9th January 2024
Quiz results will be declared on 9th January 2024
Case launch 10th January 2024
The deadline for submission is till 14 January, 12:30PM and final presentation will be on 18th January 2024

Runners Up: Cash Prize of ₹3,000 + a complimentary KPMG Six Sigma Green belt + 80% off on Henry Harvin certification
